Okay, I seem to have resolved my own issue with a solution I haven't had to use in a Windows imaging context before. I guess I'll never know but at least I have identified the steps required to resolve the issue for our specific environment. . After I posted this, I went over the whole thing again in my head. Keep it simple, see if it works, then add in anything else you need. I got the system notice on boot up that no system settings had been made. Fixes - Provides the Intel Chipset Driver for systems being upgraded to Windows 10 v1709.
I tried the most current storage drivers sp66929 and the olders drivers. Some I have to set up as required applications tied to a specific model. I verified this by swithcing the option on and off a couple times. Any assistance most welcomed please. Perhaps someone else can help you further. I'm also tempted to try it with no drivers at all and see if that gets me anywhere.
Others here in the forum have made the same request as yours. I know that 1709 is a lot stricter on signed drivers, but the system isn't complaining that this is the issue, so I don't know what to try next? For this reason, I formatted my drive and installed 1709 from scratch.
